38 Weeks!
Any day now Little One...any day...
My ticker says 10 more days until my due date....10 days! Sounds crazy! I remember being excited that I had hit double digits...now I'm almost down to single digits!
It seems as thought LO has become quite comfortable....I have a feeling we won't be seeing LO until we medically force him/her out. I really, really hope that's not the case, but seeing that my body hasn't made any progress in almost 3 weeks...I'm not holding my breathe that anything will happen on its own.
The good thing is that I still feel great. Yep...you read that right...I'm 38 1/2 weeks and I still feel awesome. I feel very lucky that I'm not miserable, I know the last few weeks can be really hard on some people. Although I am so very ready to meet LO, I love being pregnant and I think I'll even miss it.
When I first started blogging about my pregnancy, I told you that I had 3 friends, from back home, who were pregnant as well. I'm now the last one standing...and rightfully so since I was due last (Jess and Cassie may have killed me if I went before them!) I always thought it would be fun to see how we ended up on the sex of the babies. Lindsay and Jess knew they were having little girls...and they did...they are simply adorable. Then last week my fellow "team green" friend, Cassie, had a little boy, who's so handsome! Odds would say I would have a boy too...but we'll see.
Everyone is asking these last few weeks what I think I'll have...and at this point I've got myself so confused I don't even know what I think anymore. At first I thought girl...then boy...and now I'm not even sure I have a feeling...we'll be happy either way, but I'm getting pretty anxious to know who's hanging out in there :)
Here's to hoping the next time I post I'll be at the hospital waiting the arrival of Baby P...but don't hold your breathe :)
How far along? 38 weeks
Food cravings: Food in general...I've been loving food these last few days...thank goodness it wasn't like this all pregnancy!
Biggest Moment? Learning of the arrival of Baby Weston...I am beyond excited for Cassie and Ryan!!
Movement? Yep! It's a pretty weird feeling to feel the baby stretch at this point, thankfully LO seems to have moved even lower and has stayed out of my ribs the last few days...
What I'm looking forward to: Hanging out with Baby Clayton on Wednesday and the Super Bowl!
Baby's Milestones: Baby P is now about 19-20 inches long and weighing around 6 1/2 pounds. The little ticker to the right says Baby P is the size of a watermelon...I'm not going to lie...that kinda freaks me out!!

Baby P is Full Term!!!
Dear Baby P,
You are now "full term" please come soon! Mommy is getting really bored at home without anything to do and Daddy is ready to have an entire soda to himself (Mommy likes to take sips of Daddy's soda whenever she can!). I know my ribs are really fun to kick and it's nice and cozy in there, but you have many people very anxious to meet you!
We bought a video camera yesterday to capture all of your adorable moments, and Daddy is teaching himself how to use it...so we are all ready now.
Any day now Little One, any day....
Love,
Mommy
Full term!! Yay! What an amazing milestone to hit considering the crazyness that happened at 32 and 34 weeks. I am thrilled to have made it to this point! But, I am now very, very ready for Baby P's arrival. I've been out of work for 5 weeks...that's a long time for a busy body like me. I'm ready for LO to get here and keep me company throughout the day!
This week ended up being a busy one, I was able to get a few random days of work in! Thank goodness for that! Not only is the money nice, but it was great to see the kiddos. I sure miss them!
I've been feeling great lately! Ok, mostly great...LO loves to keep his/her feet warm by shoving them under my ribs (this causes the whole area to be sore, tingly, and numb)...and for the last two days my heartburn has been back and worse than ever...how is that even possible. But other than that...I've been great! I feel very lucky to feel this great late in my pregnancy.
My Braxton Hicks contractions have gotten out of control. Earlier this week I was having them every 6 mintues...I thought maybe since they were that close together I might get lucky and they would turn into real contractions, but no such luck.
Other than that, it's been a fairly uneventful week...here's to hoping we have an eventful one soon...if it's not me please let it be my dear friend Cassie...she's 39 weeks today and very ready to meet Baby C...and I can't wait to see if Baby C is a boy or girl!
Here is my 37 week picture....yay for full term!!
How far along? 37 weeks
Food cravings: Palmer's Cookies and Cream chocolate...I seriously am obsessed and could eat the whole bag....thank goodness I have some restraint....
Biggest Moment? Getting to 37 weeks...I can't believe I'm full term!
Movement? Yep! I'm really going to miss feeling LO move inside me when he/she is here!
What I'm looking forward to: Seeing some friends from STL for dinner this week!

36 Weeks!!
I did it...I made it to my personal goal of 36 weeks! Baby P got their 7 day eviction notice on Friday. Since going on bedrest I lost my job (someone has to watch the kids and we weren't sure how long I would be on bedrest at first). So I've been out of work for 4 weeks already...that was not in our plans. So it would be very helpful for our income if LO could arrive before our due date. But Baby P will come when he/she is ready.
My contractions have come and gone randomly. I'll have them for about an hour or so and then they'll just quit...this mixed with the million Braxton Hicks I have everyday makes life interesting.
At my appointment last week I was still 1+, 80%, soft, and baby is still at -1 station.
According to all the books babies drop anywhere from 2-4 weeks before their due date, we'll see if I fall into that catergory or if I will be the exception to the rule.
Yesterday we finally got around to taking our tree down and finally got the spare bed out of the nursery. I then had Ryan help me rearrange the nursery...I'm not sure I love it yet...but it will do for now...here are a few pictures...
We also had some good non baby news this weekend. Ryan has been offered a new job! He has been looking for awhile, in hopes to find something that will pay him enough so that I can stay home with LO. Not only is it a new job with great potential, but it's in the area he wants to be in (bankruptcy). We are working on insurance issues right now, so we aren't sure when he will start, but hopefully he will start around the 1st of February.
I've been thinking about how I will keep people posted about the arrival of Baby P...so here's the plan I will plan to update the Blog as I have time. Hopefully you'll all get a "I'm at the hospital and I'm staying" post followed by as many updates as possible. Ryan hasn't a clue how to Blog, so it will all depend on how I'm feeling if I'm able to update or not. Then after Baby P's arrival and things have settled down I'll make the big annoucement both here and on Facebook. I think that will be the easiest way to do things!
Here's my 36 week picture...
How far along? 36 weeks
Food cravings: Nothing this week
Biggest Moment? Ryan getting a new job!
Movement? Lots of pushing his/her butt and back against my belly, it's fun to see it change shape...and even though LO has dropped so low, I still have feet in the ribs!!
What I'm looking forward to: Hitting full term this week!!
Baby's Milestones: Baby P is now about 18 1/2 inches long and weighing around 6 pounds

35/35!!
This week I hit 35/35! When I turned 35 weeks, I had exactly 35 days to go! Sounds crazy right?! 35 days...just a little over a month and it will be Baby P's due date. Here's the kicker, I'm not sure I even make it that long!
This week has been filled with more drama! I was off bedrest last Friday. Even though I was off bedrest we had a pretty lazy weekend. I worked a full day on Monday (with all 3 kids) and a half day on Tuesday and on Wednesday the fun started.
On Wednesday I had once again been very crampy and they were quite painful. I called the doctor and they had me come in. They did my fundal height and I'm measuring 30-31 weeks (I should be measuring 35) my NP wasn't concerned she just said it's because LO is so low already, she also did an internal (I'm 1+cm dialated, 80% effaced, soft, and baby's head is at a -1 station) after the internal they put me on the monitors for about an hour, during that time I was having consistant contractions every 5-7 minutes. They weren't very painful but definitely there. I was just happy I wasn't crazy and I wasn't just making these pains up (the lovely mounds on the monitior proved it). After talking with a doctor I was sent home with the following instructions, if they get more intense or closer together, don't call...head to the hospital. The contractions continued for a few more hours before tapering off for a few hours. They picked up again right before bed. On Thursday I was having about 4 an hour, these weren't as consistent (they would be 4 and hour, 3 and hour, and so on). I also had another preliminary sign of labor (I'll spare you the details). I was concerned that baby might be coming soon (like within the next few days!). Since then things have died down. Still having cramping (nothing timeable) and lots of pressure (which is to be expected considering how low LO's head is).
Nothing like a few days of flase labor to get you excited, scared, and very anxious.
I feel like I have everyone on pins and needles these days. So I would rather this false labor crap stay away if it isn't going to turn into the real thing. It's hard to wonder if what you are feeling is going to turn into the real thing or if your body is just playing games.
We'll see what happens in the next few weeks. I have an appointment on Wednesday and I am interested to see if all this false labor has made me progress at all.
We also decided on names this weekend...nothing like the scare of flase labor to finally get us really talking about names. We have two names for each sex and we are really excited about them. But, we're not telling :) You can try Ryan, who has been the weakest link in the past...but he's been threatened with his life...and now that we have them picked out, he doesn't want to share them either. So it's another surprise :)
Here's my 35 week picture:

34 Weeks! Wahoo...I made it!!
The last few days have been pretty eventful! Yesterday I was allowed off bedrest (due to the fact that apparently my doctors office has changed my due date to 2-11 without telling me, which I'm not complaining about...at this stage in the game every day counts!). I celebrated by taking a trip to Target to stock up on some household things we will need when baby comes. I always look forward to my weekly Target trip and since I had missed it the last two weeks, I soaked it all in :)
Last night Ryan and I met up with the Lambrechts for dinner. It was great to see them and Baby Clayton is getting so big! He's a doll and holding him made me super antsy for LO to arrive. Ryan spent the night picking their brain about Clayton's daily schedule. It was so cute to see him so interested. I know he's excited and it was fun to see him trying to soak up all the information he might need when our LO comes.
We spent the rest of the evening hanging out on the couch. It was a very relaxed New Year's Eve and I loved every minute of it...I can't wait until next year when LO will be here!
But the biggest moment of all was actually making it to 34 weeks! Goal #1 accomplished! After today (or yesterday) they won't stop me if I go into labor. It's crazy to think that LO could be here any day. My new personal goal is 36 weeks. I have put myself on super modified bedrest until 36 weeks. I plan on working some (hopefully a few days a week) and getting the house ready, but spending lots of time relaxing. I figure after two weeks of real bedrest I can handle a super modified version, especially if it means I can keep LO cooking long enough to avoid time in the NICU.
Here's my 34 week picture....
How far along? 34 weeks
Food cravings: Lemon Lime Sparkling Water
Biggest Moment? Making it to th 34 week mark!!
Movement? I'm still getting lots of movement but it's definatly changing and sometimes it just flat out hurts!
What I'm looking forward to: Seeing my kiddos (Alex, Jake, and Eliana) at work this week!
Baby's Milestones: Baby P is now about 18 inches long and weighing around 5 pounds
