Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Langrehr!

The main purpose of our trip home, besides spending time with my family, was to attend the wedding of Jen and Andrew. Jen has been one of Alli's best friends since I can rememeber. She's like another sister!
When she got engaged last year, I knew there was no way we'd miss the wedding! She made a beautiful bride and everything was beautiful! Brinley was excited to see her and visit with everyone at the reception.
Brinley was a trooper! She did great! She took a nice long nap and hung out until the reception was over.

We took lots of pictures....

It was a long night :)

Brinley's 1st Zoo trip!

On Thursday last week, Brinley took her 1st trip to the St. Louis Zoo. The St. Louis Zoo is seriously one of the best and although Brinley was a little to young to really get it, I wanted to take her anyways. What can I say...Mommy loves the zoo!

We took Grandma, Aunt Alli and Mr. Josh. Lindsay and Addie went with us too! Addie is getting old enough to really understand what was going on and she was so fun to watch!

Mr. Josh took his awesome camera and took lots of pictures (I'll post them soon)! Until I can post the great pictures he took, here are a few from my camera.

Play dates....

While home, Brinley had a play date with her bestest girlfriends :)
Lindsay, Jess and I have been friends since college. We have been on vacations together, in each others weddings and pregnant at the same time. Who would have thought we all would have girls?!
Miss Adeline is the oldest at 9 months, followed by Madelyn at 5 months, then comes Brinley at 4 months.

We had a great time catching up and watching the girls interacting. The next time their together they'll all be moving and the play dates will be bumped up to a whole new level.

Of course there was a mini photo shoot in order to get a good picture of the three of them...

Brinley also got to spend some time with her Illinois boyfriend Weston. Weston is 11 days older than Brinley and the son of my friend Cassie. We have been friends since highschool and have done everything together since then. We've been on vacations, Maids of Honor in each others wedding and I found out we were pregnant just days after Cassie and Ryan got their good news! Weston is all boy and he has an adorable smile!

Family Fun!

I want to start off by saying I have the best family anyone could ask for! Brinley and I flew out to St. Louis to surprise my Mom last Monday. Dad picked us up from the airport and we surprised my Mom out at the golf course. She had no idea we were coming and she was very surprised. It was a great start to the week!

Brinley and I had lots of plans for our 6 days at home, including a play date with the girls, a trip to the zoo, and Jen's wedding (all have posts to come). We also spent time with lots of family. I some how didn't get any pictures from our family BBQ, but I did get a few with my Mom's side:

Life is Busy!!

Seriously...I'm in the middle of a 6 day work week and that's not including the two times I'm watching Eliana and the boys...and I'm having trouble finding time to do anything!

Yesterday morning Brinley and I spent the morning with Eliana and her brothers. They are some of the best kids I have ever met (I truly mean that Ayelet!) I enjoy spending time and talking with them, and so does Brinley. Eliana spent the morning sharing her toys and making sure Brinley wasn't lacking for anything to play with. At one point I'm pretty sure there were 10+ toys surrounding Brinley on the floor. It was so adorable. After Eliana was bored with that we ended up taking a long walk for lunch and stopped at the park on the way home. At the park Brinley enjoyed her 1st time in a swing and she LOVED it!

Happy Happy Baby!

And because I promised pictures from her 1st time in her jumperoo...here you go!

She loves it even though the poor girls feet don't touch the ground....she's going to love it even more when she can jump around!!

Brinley Grace is 4 months!!

Brinley is 4 months old today and I can hardly believe it! She is getting so big and I swear she learns something new everyday!
Yesterday she rolled from her belly to her back...and guess who missed it? Me, I was exhausted and taking a nap and she rolled over...serves me right to sleeping during the day. I've tried to get her to do it again for me all day and I've got nothing...

Today was also her 4 month check up. The doctor was impressed by her strength and happy that she was doing so great with her motor skills. Here's her stats:
Height: 25.5 inches (90th percentile)
Weight: 12lbs 14.3oz (36th percentile)

She has went down in percentiles from the mid 40s to 36. Her doctor wasn't super concerned, since she still was gaining weight, but he did mention a phrase that I hoped to never hear...loss of supply. Right now Brinley is getting strickly breastmilk, mostly straight from the source unless I'm at work then she takes it in a bottle. Ever since going back I have been so worried about losing my supply even though I am able to pump. It looks as though I may not be producing enough to fully fill Brinley up. So I'm going to try some Mother's Milk tea and up my water even more and see if that helps. He also suggested starting her on solids. We will try rice cereal sometime next week. I have an idea of how much they want to see her gaining so that I know if she's getting enough or if we are going to have to start suplementing with formula.

Brinley has also had a few more 1st in the last few days. She enjoy her jumperoo for the 1st time (pictures to come on Wordless Wednesday) and tonight she tried out her new bath chair. She LOVED it! I put her new favorite link toys in there (thanks for the advice Jess) and she could have sat there alnight she was kicking her legs and having a blast. Here are a few pictures of her bath tonight....

1 Year Ago Today....

One year ago today I woke up to this.....

Today I woke up to this.....

It's amazing how much your life can change in just one year! I thank God for Miss Brinley everyday...we are so blessed to have her in our life and I can't even remember life without her!!

Here's the link to my very 1st post which was also the day I got my first of many (I took one a day for 5 days after I saw the first pink lines)....
                                                                 How it all began....

It's Baseball Season!!

The Cardinals were in town last weekend and Brinley was able to attend her first two baseball games. We thought it was very fitting that it was Cards v. Rockies since she'll be a fan of both, unless they play each other and then she's only a Cardinals fan :)

Brinley did great at both games, she's such a great baby!

Here a a few of the many pictures we took over the two games....
