16 Weeks.....

Since it's only been a few days since I updated last nothing much has changed.

Ryan and I did however, finally make the big decision to be "Team Green!" I'm very excited about it and can't wait to hear Ryan say "It's a boy or it's a girl." I'm also glad we have decided so I can answer the question, which gets asked ALL the time, with a definite answer not a "I'm not sure yet."
Being "Team Green" definatly puts us in the minority these days, but I think it will be such an amazing experience.

Here's my 16 week picture (notice the Belly Band, my shorts don't even come close to fitting anymore)

How far along? 16 weeks
Food cravings: Fresh peaches and Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries
Biggest Change? Bump is getting bigger every day!
Movement? Pretty sure I've been feeling the baby move off and on all week...
What I'm looking forward to: Feeling my first kick
Baby's Milestones: Baby P is now the size of an avacado, and is able to hear voices (so you better say nice things to me)

15 Weeks,,,,

I'm a little late this week. I haven't been sleeping well (darn dreams) so I haven't been doing much in the evenings.

Ryan and I started looking at baby furniture last weekend. We hit up a few different stores and have come up with a few different sets we like. I think we'll end up ordering from JcPenney though since they seem to have the best prices. It definatly seems more real when you are walking around looking at cribs! Luckily, Ryan and I agree on the style and color. So we'll probably wait a few more weeks and order it.

The other thing that happened this weekend is that I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move! It happened on Saturday while sitting on at a stop light. Then again this afternoon. I'm still not 100% sure that's what it was, but I'm hoping! I can't wait to know for sure it's the baby I'm feeling!

Here's my 15 week picture...

How far along? 15 weeks
Food cravings: Peaches, the non canned kind =)
Biggest Change? Bump is getting bigger every week..
Movement? I think so!! Felt like little taps or popcorn popping
What I'm looking forward to: Feeling Baby P move more and more
Baby's Milestones: Baby P is now the size of an apple and weighing about 4 ounces. Although his/her eyes are fused shut our little one is able sense light!

Here's what Baby P looks like at 15 weeks:

The Most Amazing Sound....

I had my 14 week appointment today. Since baby wasn't up for sharing it's heartbeat last time, I was a little anxious, but our NP was able to find the heartbeat right away. It was such an amazing sound!

The heartbeat was 149 bpm, basically right in the middle of the range. I kinda want to get a doppler so I can hear it any time I want.
Our next appointment isn't for 6 weeks! It will be our "big" ultrasound, but we are still currently unsure about finding out the sex, but either way I can't wait to see Baby again!

Make sure you turn up the volume, so you can hear the heartbeat!

Welcome 2nd Trimester!

I am now in the second trimester, no matter what book you read! I'm so excited! I'm feeling great! We just got back from a wonderful vacation with my family to the Bahamas. We had a great time and got lots and lots of sun. It was hard being on a cruise and not having a Corona on the beach or a drink at sail away, but it's all worth it (and our bar bill was cheaper too!)
It was great spending a week with my family. It also made this last week before the 2nd Trimester fly by.

I've finally came out on Facebook...I figured it was time. I posted the same picture we used to tell my family. I'm interested to see how long it takes for everyone to catch on. It feels great to finally be able to tell the "world."

Now to more pregnancy related topics...I think I finally "popped" around 13w3d. I now have a tiny bump all times of the day and it doesn't get much bigger as the day progresses like it use to. I'm feeling less tired and the nausea is gone! We'll see if the bump is real or just a trick. I'm sure I don't look pregnant to strangers yet, but I sure feel it.

We still are undecided on whether or not we'll find out the sex. We do have our appointment set up for the end of September so we just have to make a decision before then.

Here's my 14 week picture
