Thankful Thurdsay---Brinley style

Today I am thankful for all the boxes we keep getting at the house. Mommy empties them and then I get to play :)

By the way...look closely for a glimpse at my 3 teeth....

Have a great Thursday!!

XOXO,

Brinley Saw Santa Claus!

I have been working at a County Club in since Brinley was 8 weeks old. While it's not my dream job by any means, its a wonderful place to work. They really care about the staff and our family Christmas part proved it. We had a wonderful spread of beef, salmon, halibut, duck, fried shrimp and lots of yummy desserts. After dinner Santa arrived, he sang songs with the kids and read "The Night Before Christmas". He then called each child by name and gave them each a gift! The look on the kids faces when Santa called their names were priceless. Brinley was able to see him for the first time and did much better than expected.

Here are a few pictures from the night....

I love her look in this picture

This is Brinley's favorite face....

Who are you?

And....I'm done!

Wordless Wednesday....

Mmmm...pasta

Zoo Lights...

Baby girl loves lights...like full on pure excitement over Christmas lights. I'm talking "oooohhhhing" and arms up in pure joy even at a glimpse of the beautiful twinkling lights.
Denver Zoo, in no way compares to the St. Louis Zoo, but when it comes to it's Christmas light display it is ranked 20th in the WORLD by Bing last year.

Brinley was in awe at the first glimpse. She then proceeded to "oohh" "oohh" for the next 2 hours. Even though it was pretty cold night Brinley had a blast with her cousins, grandparents and aunt and uncle.

St. Nick Came to Town

St. Nick is a wonderful tradition that we have been doing since I was young. It's apparently mostly a Midwest tradition as no one in here has ever heard of it. After taking a poll from fellow Mommies I decided to keep the tradition in our house.

Brinley might be little but the girl loves her some presents. We gave her stocking and let her explore it before getting the gifts out. She loved the wrapping paper and all of her gifts.

Our St. Nick tradition will always include an ornament for the tree, and most likely pjs, plus something fun.
It was fun and I makes me anxious for all the Christmas festivities!!

Blog Break....

I have tons of pictures and stories to share, but I have hit my storage limit on the blog. Which means I have to buy more storage...sounds easy enough, but I'm having trouble getting the upgrade to go through. I hope to be up and running by next week so I can share Brinley's first St. Nicks day and 10 month recap.

See you soon!!

Baby Girl is Rocking A New Hair-Do

Yesterday, Brinley decided it would be more fun to put her lunch in her hair rather than in her mouth. With no time for a bath we had to do the quick clean up :)

While "washing" her hair I was really noticing how much she has these days, so I played around and we ended up with a mohawk.....

Happy Saturday!!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas....

I can't believe Thanksgiving is over and it's now the 2nd of December. Yesterday was my birthday and I had a wonderful day hanging with my sweet baby! She woke up bright and early (8:20...I know I know...that's sooo early :) ) no sleeping in till 10 like she did for Daddy.
After, having a wonderful dinner with Ryan we came back home to put up the Christmas tree. We were both so excited to see how she would react since she loves the lights.

I got the camera and we snapped some pictures when she first saw the tree. The pictures don't do the moment justice. She did a lot of "oooohhhh" and pointing at the tree. My heart was bursting...she loves Christmas trees as much as her Mommy!!

Can't stop looking :)

Man I love the Holidays....now to get my Christmas cards in the mail and start wrapping presents :)
