Brinley's Princess Birthday Bash...

My baby girl turned 8 months old yesterday! I can hardly believe it...in 4 very short months I'll have a 1 year old!
After attending Addie's first birthday, my head has been spinning thinking about what our plans for Brinley's birthday will be. I've decided on a lot...we've got our theme and dates, but I'm still working on a place for each party. Little Miss will have a party here in Denver and then a second party back home the weekend after her birthday. She's one lucky lady!

When thinking of themes I found myself venturing to Pinterest. Oh my goodness....I could spend hours and hours looking through the adorable ideas on that site. I haven't ventured much past birthdays and everything pink, but I think I'm really going to like this site. While sifting through the thousands of pictures one caught my eye and it became the vision of the whole party....

This ladies and gentleman is the inspiration for Brinley's Pretty in Pink Princess Birthday Bash! Look at that table...how adorable is that? And the tissue paper pom poms.... I can't wait to get started!! With all the holidays between now and Feburary we'll be very busy so I plan on getting started early so I don't have so much to do at the end. Right now, we're still in the planning stage but I plan on starting to buying supplies here and there when Hobby Lobby has everything I need at 50% off. That's a lot of tulle, so I'm going to need to get it at bargain prices!

8 Months....

Another month has past and that means Little Miss is 8 months old!! I feel like the months are going by faster and faster these days which means before we know it will be celebrating Brinley's 1st birthday (stay tuned tomorrow for a preview of her 1st birthday theme).

Brinley's personality is really starting to blossom. We have a little girl who knows what she wants and she'll let you know if you aren't giving her that. Her smile never stops and she's talking more and more. She's also starting pulling up on things, she can't do it everytime yet, but she sure tries! Brinley has also started waving and has turned into a waving fool :)

Likes:
- Big people food (yogurt, oatmeal, pasta, ground turkey, pasta sauce, diced carrots, carrot sticks, green pepper sticks, and mashed potatoes)
- Standing up like a big girl (she no longer likes to sit)
- Pulling up on anything and everything
- Bath time
- Kids (especially Taylor and Devon, but when they aren't around any kid will do even random ones in stores make her giggle)
- Chewing on paper (I'm not sure why paper is her favorite, but if it's in site she'll do everything in her power to get it in her mouth)
- Clapping (she still needs help)
- Playing Patty Cake

Dislikes:
- Putting on shirts (something about putting her arms in the holes makes her mad)
- Getting paper taken away from her
- Jar baby food...the girl hates it, no matter what. (Some of the plastic Gerber stuff is ok, everything else she spits out)

I've also seen her first temper tantrum. It all happened because I didn't give her a carrot to chew on when she wanted it (I was trying to get her into the stroller first) she screamed and arched her back trying to throw herself out of the stroller. It was a lovely glimpse into our future :)

Oh Baby....

Brinley is lucky to have many special boys in her life, infact I may or may not have promised her to 3 different ones already :)
One of my best friends recently had an adorable baby boy, Griffin. He's so sweet and the kid has hair....lots and lots of hair....Brinley was jealous :)

Brinley also loves her buddy Weston, son of our best friends and Brinley's God Parents. He's just 11 days older than Brinley and super adorable. He is a baby on a mission and NEVER sits still. He's crawling like a champ and pulling up on everything. I'm sure he'll be walking before Brinley figures out the whole crawling thing. Brinley just adored him...she was constantly smiling at him and trying to get his attention, but in true boy form Weston was oblivious to the advances :)

Brinley Picks A Pumpkin....

We recently headed out to find a pumpkin that Little Miss could sit in, yep you read that right. We weren't looking for one to carve or sit on the front porch, instead we headed to the pumpkin patch in search for a BIG pumpkin so we could have Brinley's pictures taken in it.

We found one and I can't wait to get the pictures to so you the end result! The preview I got on the camera was beyond adorable!!

Addie Turns 1 and the besties reunite!!

I can't believe it's been a year since one of my best friends had a little girl! The day Adeline Claire was born, Ryan and I were sitting at the doctor waiting for our 20 week ultrasound.
But, now Addie is an adorable little girl with an adorable smile and hilarious language of her own!
Brinley and I were go glad we got to celebrate with her and Brinley was thrilled to see her besties!!
